Jagriti Mehra

Jagriti Mehra is a Law Clerk at Axis Legal, where she supports the firm’s attorneys in advocating for injured workers across Wisconsin. With several years of hands-on experience in the workers’ compensation field, Jagriti brings a deep understanding of the claims process—from intake and case development to hearing preparation and settlement strategy.

She assists in drafting legal demands, preparing court filings, analyzing medical records, and coordinating with clients throughout the duration of their claims. Jagriti also has experience working directly with judges, medical providers, and insurance representatives, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how to move cases forward efficiently and effectively.

In addition to her work at Axis Legal, Jagriti has contributed to litigation support through the Wisconsin State Bar’s Rural Summer Clerkship Program and volunteered in legal aid clinics, providing services to underrepresented individuals. Her background in writing, research, and client advocacy reflects her commitment to justice and accessibility.

Jagriti is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Marquette University Law School while helping carry out Axis Legal’s mission: Centered on Your Recovery.
