Biography

Alex E. Eichhorn is a highly respected Wisconsin attorney with a decade-long track record of successfully representing injured workers and individuals harmed by negligence. As the founder and managing attorney of Axis Legal, LLC, based in Milwaukee, Alex brings both experience and empathy to every client relationship—ensuring that those he serves feel heard, supported, and protected.

After handling more than 2,000 workers’ compensation cases and recovering over $30 million dollars in benefits and settlements for clients across the state, Alex founded Axis Legal with a clear purpose: to build a firm where clients receive not just exceptional legal representation, but genuine attention and care.

Axis Legal focuses on two primary areas of law—workers’ compensation and personal injury—with an emphasis on results, responsiveness, and practical strategy. The firm’s name reflects a simple but powerful idea: the client is at the center of everything. Every decision, every motion, and every legal maneuver revolves around helping that client move forward with confidence.

Alex’s journey into law began with a dual-degree undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Psychology and Political Science, along with an Honors College certificate. Recognized early for his academic excellence and leadership, he was later named UWM’s Spotlight 2011 Graduate—an award he received in 2019 in recognition of his professional and civic accomplishments.

He continued his education at Marquette University Law School, earning his Juris Doctor in 2014 with a focus on civil litigation and workers’ compensation. While at Marquette, Alex was selected to represent the university in the American Bar Association’s National Negotiation Competition, sharpening the advocacy skills that would later define his legal practice.

In 2013, before graduating law school, Alex joined Tabak Law, LLC—a small firm at the time with just six employees. Over the next several years, he helped build its workers’ compensation division from the ground up, playing a central role in transforming the firm into Wisconsin’s largest disability and work injury law practice. In 2016, he became an equity partner, leading initiatives in marketing, business development, and operations that contributed to the firm’s statewide growth and recognition.

With Axis Legal, Alex offers a more focused, client-centered approach. Drawing from years of experience and success, he now leads a firm designed to deliver high-quality legal advocacy while making clients feel seen, respected, and empowered.
